Brighter white in clear side markers?

My first mod on this car: clear jdm side markers. But the stock "white" bulbs actually look yellow. What's a brighter side marker bulb you guys use so the markers more or less match the headlights?

Thanks...

I purchased "white" V-Leds. They are more blue than the stock HID's, but they look good.

Since LED project their light to the end of the bulb it will not light up the entire sidemarker assembly like your current halogen bulb does. There are 194 wedge LED bulb with smaller LEDs in it that are angle to dispurse light in all directions they still will not be as BRIGHT as a halogen bulb they will fill up more of the sidemarker but they will not be brighter nor fill the sidemarker assembly as well as a halogen bulb. LED bulbs give you a whiter light over halogen but that has nothing to do with the brightness. What some of us have done though is make your own or buy already made sidemarkers that have circuit boards with multiple LEDS spread through out the sidemarker. It's more expensive but it will not only give you a whiter light output but it will also give you the brightness to match your headlights.

Take a look at this tread for pixs

I have these bulbs:

And here's what they look like, the bluish tint is very marginal with these leds. They are the best that I've used so far: (crappy cell phone pic)

Not all white LEDs are the same color. I'm using some from SuperBrightLeds.com called "WLED-WHP LED Wedge Base Bulbs". These are the brightest LEDs I've used (brighter than most multi LED bulbs), and they're also very white with almost no blue. Buy 4 so you can put two above your rear plate also.

Curt, I recently switch to those bulbs myself. Definitely the closest to a pure white as you can find.

White LED's usually come in three classifications. "warm white" which is a yellower white and comparable to incandescent bulbs. There is "neutral white" which is more natural and is in between warm and cool. Then there is "cool white" which tends to be on the bluish side. I try to use "neutral white" in all the fabrications I do, this gives it a better look, matches with the factory HID and most other upgrades, and doesn't tick off the cops.

I buy the individual bare LED's for all the stuff that I work on, I'm sure you're referring to the fabricated bulbs that fit in the stock socket. To tell you the truth, I haven't really looked into those. What types of bulbs go in there anyway? 194? Let me know and I'll do a bit of research! I'm pretty sure someone makes them. I try to keep my license plates as dim as possible
