LED Problem

I got these bulbs from superbrightleds.com the bulb type is the 5-LED Wide Angle LED bulb in white color, DO NOT GET BLUE! Its a 12 VDC 5-LED Wedge Base bulb (194/168 type)

Lately both bulbs have been flickering, and just today they started flashing. They almost look like strobe lights! Its scary to drive at night now because I cop can easily get me for that. What could be causing this? Improper voltage?

i've noticed that lower quality LEDs start flickering at the first sign of heat. all LEDs hate heat, but i've seen this most with superbright LEDs.

Hmm... I have the same crap LEDs but no problems here. I have them in my side markers and clearance strip. Other than the "White" LED's looking light blue, not at all white, they're fine.
Just irritating they aren't white and dont match up to the stock HIDs.

I have the same leds in my license plate also but in white. Try remove the bulbs and putting them back in and see if it goes away. I had the same problem with my previous car and when I did this, the problem went away.

Your saying that if I take it out and put it back in, it will go away? I had LEDs in my previous car and never had this problem.

It's most likely do to the fact that these products have a lack of voltage/current regulation. The slightest electricity spike can fry them.
