Go for it. 06 lights are getting cheaper and cheaper. I would highly recommend doing a clear lens swap with colormod if your doing it. Might as well do it right. I have an 05 and wanted to retrofit the 05 lights (to keep the clerance strip), but using 06 lights is much easier and would cost less to retrofit.

yea i bought mine off ebay for 165 shipped, def get some 06 suicidesam

also ivory, how easily do tsx fit below, and are the g35 lens the same size as the tsx's
looked oh hid planet for some info, but couldn't really find anything concrete

you mean how easy does the TSX fit in the foglight area? It will fit fine...it is the same size as the G35 (2.5" lens)

Damn... matte black... mmmmm!!!! I was leaning towards that metallic graphite from Ivory's earlier project, but this matte black is so damn SEXY!!!

yeah i was wondering if it fit in the foglight area,

so are the g35 and tsx lens swappable

pretty much. I believe the TSX is slightly smaller but no big deal.

No. OB is a deep black by itself and already semi-gloss.

You really need to be up close to appreciate the flat black..It really grew on me.

I see. Looks good, I can't tell which looks better, matte black or OB lol. Please post pics of them mounted when you're free.

I will post pics when I get them installed. Should be towards the end of the week. I was going for the BMW E46 sytle / JDM STi housing look so I decided on flat black. My friend painted his headlights gloss black on his IS. I don't really care for that look. Too shiny IMO.

Would this matte black or glossy black look better on DG... hmmm
Wish my car was IP cuz either would have looked great on IP.
