I'd be interested in a set for my 06 headlights. I'm a little out in the dark (no pun intended) but was in the market for the Philips Ultinons. Are the 85122cm bulbs better quality? Does anyone have pictures?

Hey Pratik,

Did you hook up with Justin for your '06 headlamps?

Update

Well, just found out that the $178 price was per bulb. I though it was too good to be true! So, now I'm hunting down the best price for these bulbs with some other vendors.

I've found a few decent prices on some Polish and Russian sites. I'm currently in contact with them to negotiate a group buy. The prices I've found list for about $107-$130 per bulb + international shipping. So this will be more expensive than I initially planned but overall it will be much more reasonable than what the first vendor offered. My goal is to get the total cost for a set of two bulbs down to around $225-$250 shipped after discounted pricing. Would you guys still be interested in buying if I could negotiate that rate?

I'll let you know how I make out.

^^^ Damn... I didn't even know XenonFactory carried the CM's. I have been looking all over for them. They also sell GE, although I was able to get 2 GE bulbs for $5 more than what they want for one.

Shdowflare... maybe you can try to set up a group buy with XenonFactory.

Thanks cloud. Do you have the Philips model number of the bulbs you got from XenonFactory?

I'll get in touch with them soon.

They do have the 85122cm. did lots of research on it. Alex knows his stuff, give him a call.

It was only a quote didn't have the time to order them, $240 shipped I believe I was offered.

If that price is available, it's likely the best price we'll find. I did find them for $214/pair but shipping from Russia woud likely take that number closer to $235 or maybe more.

If I can setup a group buy with XenonFactory that may be the best bet.

Thanks again,
Brian

So I talked to Alex at XenonFactory and they have the authentic Philips 85122cm bulbs.

They're willing to do a group buy for $240 shipped if we can get 10 people to send them the money in advance. So once we get 10 people signed up in the Group Buy section, we can start sending them our money. They'll start shipping to everyone after they've received the tenth payment of $240.

Are you guys interested in these bulbs at this price? The regular price is like $280 shipped.

If you guys are still on-board I'll setup the group buy. I may even try to get some of the My350z guys in on this if we need some extra people to take advantage of the deal.

Let me know,
Brian

240 for bulbs is too steep. especially knowing their output is much less for a little more color...

can someone just let me borrow theirs to take some pictures...please?

There was another group buy thread that offered them for $185 shipped

Figured you might want to look at this for your reference.

I'm interested in the set also.
