Phillips 85122+ D2S bulbs 5000k?
How come ebay is selling these bulbs saying they are rated at 5000K and I hear in some of these posts that it is really somewhere around 4300K. Would these offer a bluer color and not colorshift? Are these legit? Please clear this up for me...

^^^ Those are NOT rated at 5000K. I believe it is between 4100K-4300K. They are colorshift resistant so they will stay on the "yellower" spectrum for the life of the bulb. These are OEM on 06+ G35's. They do offer a higher lumen count (3400) so they are brighter, but they do not look as nice.
The Philips 5000K bulbs are 85122CM. Those are rated at 3100 lumens. These are very hard to get although there is a thread in which others are trying to set up a group buy.
Then, there are Philips Ultinons which are rated at 6000K but put out a poor 2400 lumens.
