GE D2S bulbs from Retro-Solutions

So I bought some D2S bulbs for my 06 projectors from Retro-Solutions and they arrived today. Packaging was good, but my concern is the bulbs. On the outside of the box it's labeled with GE and their symbol, however, on the bulbs them selves there's nothing to indicate they're made by GE. What do you all think? Am I ok or did I get taken?

I am going through the exact same thing. I purchased the 53550's (5100K) and I had an issue with one of the bulbs being "bent" at the end. I sent them pics and it seems that they sent me the 10000K bulbs instead of the 5100K's. I have to send them in, but I think I am just going to ask for a refund. My bulbs did not mention any thing about "GE" or "Made in Hungary" at all on the bulb.

On a side note, from the second picture, it seems that the bulb serial number starts with SB. If so, those are the Super Blue 10000K bulbs. Not sure if you ordered those or the 5100Ks.

^^^ I do not. I just know the model number is 53550, which is stated on the box. Seems like the bulbs do not match the box. And you definately do not want to run 10000K's. Those only put out about 1400 lumens.

it says, "SB050318-00528" on the bulbs. would the part number be "50318" then? do you know where I might be able to get more info online about GE bulbs specifically?

It's DL50 bulbs. They even mentioned that in their advertisement.

I already sent them an email asking them to remove their pictures. Otherwise, it seems reasonable that I should be sharing in their profits as my work is being used for their revenue.

They gave me a full refund so I am happy. Sucks to hear that they are too purple. They probably look nice. How is output?

looks good, just not enough output for me. I'd be happy if they were more of a blue-ish color, but purple isn't really my thing. do you think I can still get a refund? i only had one of the bulbs in for like 5 minutes.
