yes, I'm referring to the numerous threads that keep popping up with titles like "my headlights are too dim" "Help, I keep getting flashed" "what bulbs do I need" "my lights aren't aimed right" and on and on and on

Thats a load of ... , seriously they work perfectly, i'm not blinding anyone and the only problem i ran into was that I didn't realize the bulbs were the wrong ones, easy fix. Once aligned they work perfectly and as stated before certainly don't blind anyone, yes I checked. I would def. recommend buying non-recalled headlights...they are a steal, just make sure you align them...and you have the right bulb in there , thats it.

yes, and without our help, your would probably still be screwed up, along with the numerous threads where people who bought recalled lights who didn't know what they were doing came here asking for help. It gets old when you warned everyone of the issues before hand, and you still get dozens of people having problems. Before the recalled headlights hit the market, and everyone was buying them new from reputable sources, no one was having issues and they were pretty much plug and play.

the lights were recalled because people lack the skills to adjust it themselves.
those who had good results had good "recalled" headlights. the recall was on EVERY 06 headlight, but not every 06 had the problem needed to be recalled.

Regardless, if people knew how or where to ask how, the lights would've never been recalled except maybe replacement by warranty on some cases, such as crooked cutoff that has nothing to do with adjusting.
