Dealer said changing stock bulbs will blow fuse?
Well my dealer here in Dubai said that basically if I swap out the stock d2s low beam lights, I will blow the fuse or short out the computer ??@!##@
As you all know, the low beams on the 06 sedan are poor and dim. I want to change them from 4300k to 6000k and the dealer said that because of the brighter bulb i will blow a fuse. Is this true?
Im also not happy with the stock 9003 driving light. Want to go for 6000k but im sure they will say i will blow a fuse.
Also anyone know what brand the stock d2s, 9003 and high beams are?
Thanks.

6000k is not brighter than stock, if you think your lights are dim now, its only going to get worse. A 6000k bulb has ~25% less output than stock at best. You will not blow a fuse, but you WILL have dimmer lights.

well im stumped. I thought that by upgrading from the stock yellow d2s bulbs to 6000k philips ultinon d2s, they would be brighter
I know they will look cooler though.
HEnce I assumed I have to do some sort of d2s to h4 modification if I want the low beams bright right? Or maybe just get yellow fog light d2s bulbs.

IMO, 6k bulbs ARE ricey because they are trying to copy the look of high end HID setups that get their color from the cutoff, where the rest of the useable light is still white. 6K bulbs tint the entire lighting pattern and have 25+% less light.
