yea. I got them long time ago for another car and never put them on. I'm also concidering just placing another led at the bottom of the strip instead of the ccfl. I don't know, it depends on what's easier and cheaper!

I have found that the Piaa Extreme white bulbs seem to match the HID's pretty close. I don't think anything will give you an exact match. Even the CCFL's seem too bright...but they do light up the entire strip

your best bet would be a bulb like ^^^ instead of an LED as LED's have too much "blue" in them.

Im not quite sure what I want to do with the clearence strip. 1st lemme tell u what ive got done. I still have the stock HIDs and I installed yellow fogs. So far I have the 4 color look going on in my headlights. Unless I have the fogs off. Anyway I also have the clear corner black housing side markers with an orange bulb. Question is should I go with an orange clearence strip like the picture above or should I match the HID???

I did the front turn signal mod.. it [circular amber turn signal) only comes on when I engage the turn signal. So it remains off otherwise. Much cleaner look without the 4 different lights

edit: err, sorry.. the circular amber light is only on when I engage the turn signal.

you run wires from the turn signal in the headlight harness to the side marker

NVM. Rather leave it as it is. Any thoughts on the clearence strip being orange, or matching the HIDs?

Well due to the amout of overwhelming suggestions on the orange clearence strip lol I went ahead and decided it would be the easiest (matching color wise) way 2 go. So I did em in less than 30 min and looks great. Friend from work said it looked great Got some pics of that and the yellow fogs. Excuse the camera phone quality

Same way u do the headlights. Take off the wheel well and u'll expose the headlight... u can reach the head/fog and clearence strip from there. Either way its on the top corner and has a piece of plastic shaped as a rectangle. Turn it and pop it out. Put the wedge bulb in and to the steps in reverse... Its fairly easy.. took me about 20 min for both.

well it took me an hour the first time... but its not that hard.
This shows you how to take out the wheel well. https://g35driver.com/forums/body-interior-exterior-lighting-diy/86248-diy-replacing-fog-lights.html

I recommend u changing all the bulbs if u wanna that way its a one time deal. I hope this helps. Keep us updated
