you just need to buy d2r bulbs rated at 6000k however they will NOT be brighter. they will be more blue. the higher the kelvin rating, the lower the light output.

your stock hid's rated at around 4300k is going to be the benchmark in brightness. as soon as you go higher to achieve that bluish tint, you will lose light output. you can't have both. having said that, i wouldn't go higher than 6000k if you want your hid's looking a bit more blue.

so what if i wanted to make them brighter with out caring about the color. I just want more light coming out of them. But if i only wanted to make them a little bit blueish, all i would have to do is replace the bulbs?

as i mentioned earlier, our stocks are rated at around 4300k. daylight at noon is around 5000k. so if you want max light output, you'd want a 5000k bulb however, i doubt you will notice much difference.

If you want better output, your only option really is to do a projector retrofit. You can get increased output as well as blue/purple flicker
