clear corner mod

i think im probably the only one that buys the clear corner lenses and keeps the amber bulbs but if u do, durin the day u notice that u can see the amber bulb quite visibly so wut u can do is make your own silver tipped bulbs using the extra high temp aluminum paint u used to paint your engine cover $4 at walmart

u can i either mask the bulb and spray it or spray the paint into a small tray like hte tray the piaa wedge bulbs come in and dip em only spherical portion of the bulb needs to be painted
once installed the lens looks very clean and u can hardly tell that there is a bulb in there

My hubby did that to his S2000, it looks very clean and I’ll probably do that to my G as well.

Re: clear corner mod

I just used the clear bulbs that come with the stock corners.
Didn't like the Amber when lit at night.

Re: clear corner mod

i like the amber bulbs just because they match the turn signal...if i ever have the time/know how/guts to change to turn signal to clear then ill probably change the sidemarker light as well

It doesn't take guts, or even much time. You can accomplish the whole swap in less thn a minute for each side and don't need any tools at all.

Re: clear corner mod

Phillips makes silvervision bulbs which are chrome/silver plated which the euro's use quite often. They only have an 1157/1156 size I think, but you can find off brand silver coated, amber color bulbs on eBay in all kinds of sizes.
