I saw that, but at this point, since the number of g37 headlights are so few, the cost benefit factor is just too high at this point. I personally can see everything I need to see with a single set of projectors. I don't drive on dark backroads at night hardly ever, and I can alread see across 2-3 lanes of freeway, so unless seattle is planning on some major upgrades, my quad bixenons are going to be overkill

the road is much more clear and visible. i do say it is an "upgrade" from the stock 4300k.

Your eyes are tricking you, its impossible that you have more light output than a 4300k, just look at this comparison, Phillips 4300k vs. Phillips Ultinon 6000k.

Its obvious that the 4300k has greater intensity in its entire output, it drowns out the purple light where they overlap

Let me just throw in my 2 cents.

It seems like everytime someone posts about 5000K+ bulbs, certain individuals keeps knocking them about loss of light output. It always comes back to doing a colormod, etc.

Sure, that is the "correct" way of doing it. I am setup that way (TSX w/ colormod and Philips 85122), but its not for everyone. On top of that, it makes it seem like doing a colormod will make your lights blue/purple. Sit inside the car and its a different story. Sure there is color, but you also see the "yellow" of OEM bulbs. If people want to change the bulbs out, let it be. You rarely see people knocking on other peoples mods. They like to mod the cars to how they like it. No need to say their way is not "correct".

I really didn't want to type this all up but its like everytime this subject comes up, the same responses are made. Just let it be guys. Let people mod their cars the way they want.

thats fine, but when people come here after doing so, and claiming its an upgrade, and swearing their lights are now brighter than stock, I gotta set them straight because they are spreading completely incorrect info. Its funny because alot of people on here are quick to call honda's ricers, which this mod is a perfect example of a ricer mod. Lossing significant performance to try to mimic the look of real clear lensed projectors is just that.

Which is perfectly fine, you can like the look better, but just don't claim they are brighter than stock and I don't have a problem with that statement

That would imply brighter would it not? Which is impossible.

So what did you mean by that statement, that they were dimmer?

I suppose the happy medium here is that there is more Contrast and I do know this for a fact that it seems like the lines on the road are so much more visible with a different color bulb. but that's due to color contrast not a matter of brightness of the light.

Each to his own. as long as he's happy.
