why would you want to tint all your light purple, and lose 25+% of your output while you are at it?

The light isn't actually purple with 6500...its a truer white than stock with a little bit more blue. You don't lose significant light output like you do with blue 8000K or purple 10000K

its definetly not "white", I've seen 6000k ultinons and they are definetly pink/purple, and I don't get how 25+% isn't significant?

I always see 6000k as being blue. Purple pink is usually going to be the projector that causes a color change.

6000k

why do you guys complain so much about the light output, its like someone who makes a million dollars a year asks another guy, "Why are you only making $750,000 a year?!" come on people, their HID's!!!. you still have great output!(not speaking for the 8000K and 10000k+ guys) there are so many cars out there with halogens, who WISH they could have a fraction of what HIDs put out. just my .02

Because there are correct ways of achieving color, and colored bulbs are trying to fake the funk, while real projectors produce color at the cutoff. I like color too, but I like my output to be as bright as possible. You should see what some of the guys on hidplanet are willing to do to get extra output, the g35 projectors are close to the bottom rung in terms of output compared to some of the other projectors out there.
My headlights for a reference

^nice color there, did Ivory do your headlights? and yeah your right there are better ways to get the color, but bang for the buck i wouldnt mind sacrificing some lumens for a little bit of blue. also, IMO i dont like how when you look at the lights in one angle they look whitish, and then at another angle they look blue, so for the cost i personally went with the ultinons.

bang for the buck? I did my color mod for less than the cost of a set of ultinons, it can be as cheap as $30 with slightly less color using clear FX lenses

Its far from perfect, my alignment is still off and I think I have too much color. Gonna try to take them apart again and swap for those custom lenses for less color and IMO a more uniform output
