can this be fixed ? separating lens from housing question ?

can this housing be repaired by swaping the lens from one headlight to another ? Would it make a difference if the lens came from a non HID housing onto a HID housing ?

If so how do you remove the lens and replace it and not have it leak ?

thanks

No difference...

suggestion: buy those cheap black ebay headlights and use the lens's from them (they're new, scratch free), and if you want you can even use the black bezel inside, just use ur stock housing so you can still use HID's.

Stick The Headlight In The Oven On 210 For 12 Min. Then Lift The Tabs At The Bottom Of The Housing (use Flat Head) And Work Your Way Up While Pushing The Housing Away Form The Lens. To Reattach It Put The Housing And New Len Back In The Oven On 200 For 9 Mins. This Is How I Installed My Halos In The Headlight. I Already Stuck My Headlights In The Oven Twice Because I Had To Replace A Len That Got Messed Up From Goof Off. (do Not Use On Lens Fyi) And Repainted The Chrome Piece. Worked Great!
