hid lights

hid lights

i have the white led on the clearance strip and side markers. the color is kind of blue i would like to know what colour hid lights youll recommend to change so it can match the rest of the leds!!!

6000k is perfect. it's pretty white with a hint of blue. 4300k is too plane white

matching LEDs is a fruitless quest. because most LEDs are something in 5-6000K but because its not nearly as intense as HIDs the color looks pure white where a HID would have more color spectrum.

LEDs are monochromatic (only puts out a single wavelength of light). Most other forms of light, HID included, mix together a bunch of light to create colors. HID color is the average of all the colors combined, LEDs are only one color.

Random fact: White LED's are actually blue LED's with filters on the coating to make it appear white.
