has anyone left part of the projector chrome on 06 lights

im looking at doing another set of headlights and im curious if anyone has left this part pictured chrome and then painted the other parts black?
please excuse my bad paint skills to show the part i was thinking about leaving chrome.

Some recent ones I did. Which were previously modded by Ivory. I believe he did the clear lens on them.

for fawks sake, lookin at all these pictures makes me wanna take mine apart again and re-chrome the projector part, I did mine all low gloss black, but regret it more and more, and now this is the final straw.....
any suggestions from you experts ??
what kind of chrome spray should I use, something highly heat resistant or does it not matter ??

no chrome spraypaint is going to look right, you would have to get new bezels and repaint them correctly

I dont see why chrome paint wouldnt work, the black did... u could experiment with other colors to be orignal.. like white.. or red.. depending on your car color...that might actually look kinda cool; black/red combo on a red car or a black car with some time attacks!
