i didn't want to get shocked .. im going to remove the battery first since another member said he had the same problems as me and it was a fuse located behind.. do i need to disconnect the battery to move it out of the way to get to those fuses or can i just lift it up a bit?

10 mm socket dude, take both sides off battery. I did it for like 30 sec. Like the other guys said it wasn't a fuse for me, I spent a lot of time checking fuses before giving up and looking here.

idk i couldn't find a socket that would fit the bolt end through far enough to latch onto the nut so i had to be innovative and use an adjustable wrench (idk names of tools lol) and have it at a weird angle to unscrew it

Disconnecting the positive and negative fixes this? All my interior lights are out too.

Yea...All my lights went out when i changed out my interior lights for LEDs. After a FULL night of checking EVERY fuse, and EVERY connection, and putting every bulb in every different spot, i went to bed. Searched this forums for an hour and found a thread saying to do this. I did it the next morning, and EVERYTHING worked.

Simple solution - Disconnect battery and reconnect. That should be stickied.

My lights work again!

I was almost ready to take it to the dealer when I saw this post. I disconnected the battery and reconnected and they all work again. Thanks so much for the advice.

interior light problem

When removing the interior light/ sunroof switch i believe they were possibly installed reversed however now corrected and the interior light will not come on automatically .

Cant find a bad fuse so i suspect there is a control module that has been damaged, anyone have an idea where that is located ?
Note, they turn on with the manual switch and the door lights turn on when i disarm, just not the map lights - however they will light when i manually turn on just not autmatically anymore.

I did remove postive for a few minutes but that did not help, I believe its the control module as the power to the key ring still lights and turns off automatically when the key is inserted - next thing to do would be to tap that light back to the interior light as a half *** fix but rather fix the control module --anyone?>
cheers

i tried doing the sidemarker blinker. and for some reason that mod didnt work on the passenger side and all of the parking lights went out and my stereo light doesnt light up either. worse of all my tail light dont light up either. i check all the fuse on the driver side and the battery. but i havent checked the third one which is behidn the battery. do you dink its the battery or is it a fuse behind the battery.
