I would say anyone with any lighting issue should simply disconnect their battery terminals for 10 minutes and try again, reset the system before trying to fix anything.

I have had the same problem before, exactly as you described. Mine was the daytime running light control unit that failed. after it was replaced, everything was fine.

Did you change the interior lights? Did you also try just disconnecting the battery, waiting a couple seconds, and then reconnecting it? I BET that will answer your problem.

yea yea ive tried it all.. i cant change my radio button lights fyi lol.. my door lights and dome lights work perfect.. everything works except the lights on the center where all the buttons are for a/c, radio.. etc.. and my back stop lights.. if i click the unlock and lock button on my remote the back outer lights or whatever light up. but the stop lights that are more in the middle dont.. if u get what i mean. ill try leaving the battery unplugged overnight.. maybe my 20sec of getting it disconnected didnt do the job lol..

Check the third fuse box for sure. I just changed one of the fuses in there because my tailights, license plate lights, and bumper lights weren't working. I took me 2 days to figure it out with a wiring diagram. At first I thought it was the BCM, but thank god it wasnt. Most likely its a fuse...check it out and let us know. The third fuse box is right behind the battery in a black box. You might not have to take the battery out. Just pop the black casing up and should be good to go. Hope that helps......

yep it was the 3rd fuse box behind the battery.. well its not really behind at all. its actually left of the battery.. you just have to take this windshield gutter looking thing off and its right under it. I didn't even have to touch the battery. The fuse was a 10 amp fuse that controlled the tail lights. Ez fix. thanks guys

Just gotta say that this forum is great. I had my interiors go out on me due to dead battery. Was thinking fuse from the start but figured I would check here first. I found this thread and the full battery disconnect trick worked perfectly! This forum has yet again saved me hours of frustration. Thanks G35driver and to the people that posted in this thread.

I discovered the fix for this by accident when I left the trunk open in my garage and the battery died. After recharging the battery, my interior lights that stopped working more than a month ago suddenly came on. Wish I'd found this thread sooner. Would have saved me a lot of aggravation.
