Is anyone interested in having their headlights cleared? The shop I go to has mastered how to get all of the orange out of headlights. It is done right, and it is done very CLEAN. He hasn't given me a price yet, but I had mine done today, and they look great. I am not sure how to get pictures up, but i will try in this post. If it doesn't work, e-mail me if you are interested, and I will send them to you, and any further information you might need. The process works that you either drop you headlights off(no bulbs) or you mail them to him, he does them, and ships them back out to you, or you pick them up. He is usually very quick with his work, so it would only take a few days I am guessing. E-mail me with questions, or post a reply. Thanks.

Hey guyz..ok..some more information

I will email pictures to those that posted email addresses, and maybe they can post the pictures for me since i can't figure it out..hehe.

The shop is located in Pompton Lakes NJ. He does awesome work. I haven't talked to him yet today because it it only 7:00 in the morning, but I will be going there today to do more work on my car. He has looked at these headlights for a while and figured out an awesome way to do it. First, the bumper has to be dropped. The headlights have to be UNSEALED to get in there, but heating them will warp the seals. Then he will take out that orange piece. That is not easy, because you have to CUT it out, and also, the place where you cut it out of has a special factory chrome paint that is near impossible to match..so one slip, and you'll be in trouble. He uses a lot of special grinders to get it out, and grinds it down to give it a smooth look. On my car, I didn't want him to put a clear piece back in. Behind the orange is "chrome" like the fog and headlights. So, with the orange out, it looks way cool. The bulbs behind the orange (blinker bulbs) are clear, so instead of putting in yellow bulbs which you will see when you look into the light, we decided to color the stock clear bulb yellow. When you have your lights off, you cannot see it even if you try to look. When the lights are on, it is a pail yellow..just enough yellow to be legal. Where you have your headlights on it looks way cool. By having this "light" job done, it changes the look of your car a lot. I love it. It looks WAY more aggressive. I am not sure of a price yet, but I will talk to him. I am guessing in the 150 range. Maybe more maybe less. Not sure.

For those of your thinking about using the guy on the 350Z forum, please think twice about that. Thats what I did, and he butchered by lights. I thought I was going to have to buy new headlights, but thats when shop figured out this way. I am in the process of trying to get a refund of money from that "kid." PM me if you want information on "MR.ZIPPS"...I don't want to post all the stuff he did to me on here.

Let me know if anyone is interested. I will get a definite price today, and see what his schedule is like. He also does custom work other than lights. Installs turbos, superchargers, etc etc..anything you can possibly want to your car, he can do. Thanks everyone. Feel free to ask questions.
