Just painted my 06 bi-xenons...and...

Updated BELOW with on-the-Z pics! - Please excuse the poor pic quality P-N-S camera ftl plus the sun was going down = poor lighting Real photoshoot coming soon!

Holy **** it was a lot of work!

LoL, I had the help of the lighting master aka redlude97 came over to help me tackle this set. As always my car was being a pain in the *** throughout the process from the bumper, to the painting, and everything else haha.

We started at 9ish and I just finished at 2 am. Definitely an all day task and I have to say I underestimated the difficulty of the task. Now I have a new respect for the lighting mods lol. Thanks again Hai!

Here are some in-progress pics and new ones will come tomorrow morning. As for the g35 headlights on the counter we were going to do that set too...of course it never happened lol...

Looks good. Personally, I would have done a satin finish. I love the projector shroud on the 06+ Z's.

Hai is such a homie! Thanks again for the help bro!

As for why I went with black - my car has an overall blue/black theme and I have seen gunmetal/satin/even color matching the car on the blue Z and it's definitely did not stood out as much. I definitely like this color for a blue car

Pat - when you and Hai work on it I wanna come over and help plus I gotta see all your extra wheels in person haha.

ooooo! nice! I like that shroud idea. I would have left everything chrome and chromed that nice Z shroud. Im going a quad retro myself and it is a lot of work. Im keeping mine chrome, want it to look oem. You dont appreciate the work until you do it yourself.

Paul...that set looks flawless. Good work. If I had a Z, thats how my set would look.
