Satin looks nice but it doesn't look good on a daytona blue if you have my car's color you'll know how hard it is to match anything to it

So in your words - are you stating that making Z headlights into G headlights or vice versa is better? I don't get it

did you wet sand it? It looks like it has an orange peel texture

There is a texture, it was too cold, and we shouldn't have been painting. The pressure in the cans was too low and the paint wasn't drying correctly resulting in the textured look
