Philips ultinons w/blacklight LEDs (pics)

Just wanted to share some pics of my set up. I have 6000K Philips Ultinons (D2S) and purple/blacklight 194/168 LEDs (city lights). The LEDs make the fog light section of the assembly glow purple, kind of looks like a residual from the headlights. Definitely causes gawking, especially from women, there's something about purple!

[2nd pic is kind of crappy, hard to shoot good ones at dusk]

Got the LEDs from v-leds.com if anyone is interested.

Ehhh. They look pink to me, just like all the other ultinons I've seen. As long as you are happy I guess.

Does the amount of background light affect the light color in a picture? Mine don't look pink to me.

From what I've seen in person on Stealthninja's car, they look pink to me. I guess our definition of purple is different

It's difficult to judge personal experience with pictures, but the picture I posted depicts my lights quite well. I don't see any huge of blue/pink/purple, just white. Then again, as already mentioned, the difference seen could be in our monitors.

I guess I see them as this color. I think they're on the cusp of the transition between purple and pink, but closer to the purple side.

Cameras just don't pick up lighting well.
I've seen these in person and they aren't as pink or purple.

Did you mod those or just add bulbs? I like it!
