8000k Mtec installed

I just installed Mtec's 8000k bulbs, I know everyone would say that Im gona be blind at night and thats way to blue. They are blue but only on warm up im tellin you the dont look blue after warm up, they have just a hint of blue. They look fckin awesome. They actually look brighter then stock, again I know the stocks are supposed to be brighter but to my eye, my bros eye, and all my boys they even say there brighter. I reccomend these bulbs to anyone looking to get a little blue lol

Appearing to be brighter is one thing. The actual number of lumens they produce is another. But it's evident that you're happy with them, so more power to you.

i'm too lazy to search, but there's a chart floating around here that shows how many lumens you lose every 1000K you go up... i'd say you're losing a 1/4 of your original lumen output at the least...

but like calvin said... you like it so more power to ya

If I am not mistaken, going up to 6000K, you lose 20-25%. Going to 8000K, you would probably lose more.

As long as you are happy, that is all that matters.
