I took the bumper off. Took out the lights. Used a heat gun and opened the lights. Took them to paint shop. Used heat gun to put them back together. Back on the car.

I also had another set of lights done in Flat black for another forum member, but he has to post them up.

Do most of you guyz do this to your original headlights or do you use a spare set or something....i would just hate to try this and mess them up to the point where they are useless and then i am un-able to drive my car.

CF Lamination there is a company local for me that does this.

That's tough...I think it's either hit or miss with that and you'll have to see it in person...but I'm also thinking that if you have tasteful cf mods throughout your car then you might be able to pull it off.

heres mine while the car was at the body shop


after the car came out of the body shop(rims are different now, so no heat please)

For my headlights I just taped off the parts i didnt want to tint, and sprayed them with the VHT nightshade spray. I did the same with my tailights and it works great!
