Changing dashboard and console lights..

Hey,

Does anyone know if its 'easily' possible to change all the lights on the inside of the cabin (console and dashboard) to blue, from orange? I'm assuming it has to be at least possible because at some point the amber lights will go out. I checked the DIY forum and didn't find anything about changing these to blue.

Thanks,
-Chris

On the instrument cluster the bulbs are white, the lense is orange. To change them you would need a new overlay.

did you take a good look at the overlay? do they seem easy to change or a pain?

how about the radio controls etc?

I wouldn't mind if the lights were more red like in some Audi's. but the orange is pretty ok too...

The overlay doesn't look hard to change. A few screws and remove the needles. I did mess with one of the needles and couldn't get it to move. The rest of the buttons seem to be clear but I haven't looked at them close enough to tell if the bulb is inside the button itself or if it shines through a hole in the button.
