"fog" light question

hi guys,

i am not sure what to call it, but i am really referring to the small bulb inside the headlights (not to be confused with the actual fog lights that turn on with the headlights only). this bulb turns on when you turn on the 'fog lights' by themselves and emits a oem yellow color.

i'd like to change this to white (even tho it really defeats the purpose of a fog light) was wondering if anyone has done this? what bulbs to use? i have an 06 coupe

if you have an o6 and you are not talking about the fogs which are h1 bulbs, then there is the city light which turns on with the corners as parking lights, it is located in the fog housing and is a 194/168 bulb

maybve a dumb question but can you change it by doing the same removal one does for the foglight bulb removal (taking out the tire liner)?

tons of people have done this. not one person, from what i've seen, has achieved the "white" light that they were looking for. search and you'll find pics.
