G35 Headlights not as bright as other HIDs?

so i have an '04 with the xenon HIDs. Every once in a while i'll pull up next to a BMW, audi, lexus, or benz and i notice that our HIDs are not as bright as theres. I drive my dads lexus ls430 and his lights are brighter than mine also. Wondering if anyone else feels this way or if i just need new bulbs....?

i have mine colormodded, and they are by FAR brighter and better than a BMW. I sit next to my sisters boyfriends brand new IS350 and it definately out does his also. DEFINATELY love driving at night because of them! My mom even drove my car the other night and said how much she loves it.

Bottom line...Get color modded projectors!

actually, what color mod? like putting a nut between the projector lens and the part holding it? switching the lens?

Do a search for IvoryGT. He did mine and it wasnt that bad. Though i had to send them back to reseal them, and now have to do it myself. But he does awesome work.

No, anything with a higher temperature than stock will just reduce output. However, IMO, its a good compromise

b/w looks and functionality. The 6K ultinons are a lot sexier than those stock ones.

No, it would make things significantly worse, you would lose 25+% of your stock output
