Just noticed that this light on my drivers side was out:

Lamp Replacement Guide-eddgm.png

Is that considered:
"Rear sidemarker
194"

?

If so, I have my 194s from my side corners that I replaced with LEDS, can I use them there? Same brightness/color?

Search around our Vendor forums. There are a few that offer 6000K H4 bulbs.

i just bought a set of 07 projectors. I have a 05 currently.. the 07 is missing the ballast and d2s bulb. Can i use my old ballast from my 05 to run the new d2s bulbs that i'm going to buy? Or do i have to buy d2s kind of ballast? i also notice some Amazon.com D2S bulbs that also come with its own ballast for $40 could i use that ballast?

The ballasts are interchangeable. So your 05 ballasts will work.

As for your bulbs and stuff...do some homework around here. Most cheap bulbs are complete junk.

Most stuff you get for our cars from eBay is junk. Just check it out on here first, more than likely someone has already bought it, and can give you some feedback.

Selling the 05's? Obviously w/o ballast and maybe some bulbs. If so PM lmk what you're looking to get.

Nice upgrade. My '04 only has the one HID and the non-projector halogen, def an upgrade I've wanted to pursue but the $700-800 sticker on new has deterred me a bit.

Don't buy that crap, here is a much better source:

Much is new open stock, prices varies widely - but for example I scored 4x 80W/100W H4'a for my Tsuru lights on my B13 very good deal at $7 each. Better than Silverstars and that crap, most OTC bulbs sold USDM are lacking in the key area - wattage is never more than 60-65W for the high beam.

Here ya go, search donsbulbs MAIN PAGE - rare specialty bulbs projector lamps for
H4-100W-80W-12V
prices vary A LOT - the specific link I saved says sold out, but there are 30 other links there, some are $33/each, some less, I don't have time to go through them
also caveat not legal for road use in 50 states
but seriously never a problem with well adjusted lights, been running these in my U13/B13's for years w/o any issues at all.

Made three purchases there, never gotten screwed, and they have some really hard to find stuff.

HTH

I'm planning to buy an H4 HID kit off ddmtuning for my 05' coupe I know the fog and high beam is basically the same thing so do it order the option that says H4/9003 Hi/Lo? or just the regular H4/9003? I have a feeling it's the high and low option but I just want to be sure..

The 06-07 projector headlights don't have those "clearance strip" that light up on the 03-05 models... There's no bulb/light output.

Thanks a lot for the guide and comments everyone!

Before I start ordering some LEDs to replace the factory bulbs in my '04 coupe I just wanted to ask some questions to clarify:

1. What exactly are the city/parking lights? Are they lights in the "clearance strip" next to the low beams?
2. Are the daytime running lights basically the H4 fog/high beam bulbs on low power, and when the high beam or fog light switch is turned on, the bulbs output more power? So would I need to find an H4 bulb that is specifically dual-filament or are all H4's dual filament?
3. I will need a total of 4 bulbs to change all the lights in each headlight (D2R's, H4, 7443, 194)?

Thanks everyone!
