All of a sudden my drivers side HID turned purple...I think that the bukb is dying out. Am I right? How much are new bulbs going to cost me from infiniti?

from the dealership, most likely an arm and a leg.

Try ebay, you'll save some money going that route.

by the way, what do you have? reflectors or projectors?

Id say just upgrade now. Maybe get a pair of 6k's or 8k, would look nicer. If not, just pick the 85126+ D2R's

If your going to "upgrade" to higher Kelvin bulbs, stick with name brands and stay away from generic brands. Philips Ultinons seem to be the most popular 6000K bulbs, but according to the numbers, you will loose a significant portion of light output.

Philips Ultinons - but they aren't cheap the last time I bought a pair.

He has reflectors. I'd stick with OEM ratings. Projectors, you can slighty get away with running the 6000k Philips Ultinons. at least IMO.

if you're looking on Ebay... be mindful of the products that are being sold as something else. ex. the D2C bulb...

By OEM ratings you mean stick with the factory bulbs, don't get 6k...bc I dont want to lose light output
