Before someone tells you to do a search, Philips Ultinon 6000K. You'll get the blue tint you're looking for without losing the lumens you would with cheaper 6000K bulbs. You're still going to lose just not as much but it comes with a price, $180-200 per pair. Now go do a search to learn more.

I have the ultinons 6000K and love them. When they first turn on they have a nice bluish look to them but as they warm up they
get a nice crystal white light. Looks great IMO. hope that helps.

I mean... the OEM bulbs are quite yellowish when they get all warmed up.. Does 6000K really make a big difference in color-wise? Is there such thing as 7000K bulbs...?
One reason I did upgrade my bulbs was because I couldn't justify the price of $150+ for a set of bulbs... I can spend that kinda money towards a nice set of rims, intakes or even some springs... you know?
Now with that said... is it worth it? (I know I'll get a biased answer, but.... oh well... )

It does improves visibility but not that much. Color deff is much better. It does not gets yellowish at all. that is the only thing I liked about mine when I had them.

For now, I'm going to get the pop-charger and lower the car first... as well as powder coat the wheels (or getting new rims) for my car.
Er.... maybe I'll do the mod soon. HAHA Can't make up my mind.

you'll love the 8000k's until you drive your car in the rain. then it's like looking at black ice almost impossible and very scary to drive in. hell even, with our 4000 or 4300 kelvin lights it's hard to see in the rain. i think if i were you i'd care less about what other people see in the distance and more about how much distance you can see w/ your headlights. or do some research on the new LED headlights coming on the lexus lf-a and audi r8.
