Luminics h1 JDM yellow fogs???

Hello all,

I just installed a new set of these today on my car, and one of the bulbs has a much deeper yellow light coming from it than the other. Is this common and has this happened to anyone? Do aftermarket lights tend to come like this? Thanks!

Etien

Etien,
If you purchased these bulbs new, you need to send them back for an exchange b/c that is not supposed to happen. The bulbs are most likely defective. If you said that one looked brighter than the other one from a distance, then I would say to check your fog light adjustment but that doesn't seem to be the case here. Good luck!

Thanks for the quick reply. The problem is not from a distance, you can tell right away up front of a wall that the colors differ. Yes they are new and I have e-mailed the e-bay seller but no responses as of yet.

I have purchased Luminics JDM yellow fogs for both my 05 lights and my 06 lights and light output has been consistent on both sets.

Same thing I'm going through with my PIAA ION Yellows. The driver side is yellow, and the passenger side is white. Out $65. Looking for a replacement.

What a coincidence. My driver side is the yellow one and passenger side is the lighter one as well...

3000k is a better better bet than the plain dyed glass bulbs. A bit more expensive but fare more desirable results.

Mine are 2500k, which are supposed to be yellower than 3000k ... I'm just disappointed in the quality of the bulbs...

This may be off topic. I'm gonna install these bulbs this weekend, was wondering if it's okay to drive with these yellow fogs lights on at all time. Would it disturb other people or even get a ticket?

No, yellow fogs are perfectly legal. You can drive with them on all the time

How weird is that. We should swap. I'll trade you one for one so we have the same. Actually, the yellow on this isn't that great in my opinion anyways. Was looking into the Polargs http://www.racinglab.com/po90puyesube.html, or the Shinning Wizards for a white look. Not quite sure yet.

Haha that was funny man...I don't know how a PIAA would match up in color with a Luminics Good luck with the new purchase.
