The sun beats at the plastic and the clear film gets burnt/faded. I have a buddy who is specializing in headlight buffing and cleaning and he has told me some info about why this happens. If you are in the Miami area you can have him fix it cheap and good. Otherwise, you can use the plastix which will last you a month or so and will have to keep re-applying. The procedure will last a good year or more, depending on treatment.
