Can I transfer my headlight lenses

I have an 04 sedan with factory HID.I want to paint my housing black, and replace my lenses because they are scratched. I kind of like these

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/03-04...spagenameZWDVW

But I've heard people say they wont factory HID. My question is, can I buy them and just take off the lenses and maybe even the plastic painted black and put it on my headlights? Thanks

The lens should be the same as long as they made their mold from the oem sedan lights. I have a oem non-HID headlight at my house and the lens is exactly the same as my oem HID except that it doesn't have the same bulb number stamped on it.

If you plan on swapping the lens, just swap out the inside bezel aswell, that way you wont need to do any painting.

Cool, so I can do it. I didnt know if the bezel in the cheaper headlights was somehow attached or something and couldnt be taken off.
