How long before the headlights start turning yellow?

Not just for the G but cars in general. After a few years, the headlights start turning yellow(the plastic part). I kind of hate that about a car.

Use Meguiars Plastix periodically and this will prevent your headlights from becoming foggy and yellow. And if they are already pretty nasty this will clean them up. This stuff is awesome...it even has a G on the bottle!

Yeah but I don't think they will look crystal clear. And do you apply that stuff on the outside? Isn't the yellow stuff in the inside?

3M Plastic Polish or Plastic cleaner has always worked well for me, even removed some pits in the headlights. This isn't an Infiniti only thing, every vehicle these days has these headlights. If you keep them waxed, or use the polish occaisionally, they will look good for a long time!

Negative, it's all on the outside.

Used that stuff on my friends 94 integra that had almost no light output because they were soo yellowed and fogged up. the plastix cleared them up to like new agian with almost no effort.

it you keep you car washed often, it'll prevent/delay it from happening... I've heard of people Waxing their headlights to protect it also. My TL is 7 years old and doesn't have any yellowing, but i see plenty of 03-06 model G's with the yellowing headlights, it can be fixed with the plastiX, if it's really bad, you can try wetsanding with 2000 grit, then compound then polish. Did it on a friend's 03 accord and it turned out well
