Question Confused, bulbs for headlights 04 sedan

I ordered all new bulbs for my headlight. Low beams, hi beams, and parking light.

Now I was under the impression my parking lights were my running lights. But the silvania website list an additional set of bulbs for your running lights, the same model bulbs as the high beams BTW, what gives?

I only see space for 3 bulbs not 4

in countries like canada, they have running lights on during the day that utilizes what we have as fog lights. They are the same bulbs as the US fog lights/high beam. Essentially you only need 3on each side. The headlight, fog/high beam, and the parking lights. Parking light are those tiny ugly bulbs next to the highbeam/foglights. Also, You dont have xenon? Instead of buying all these bulbs why not just invest in upgrading to xenon.

I do have xenon, but only for my low beams. I ordered 6000K to replace the 4300K the car came with.

The parking lights are the 168 or 194 bulb type (they're both the same). They are the wedge design, the kind where you simply push in to plug into the socket and pull out to remove. I upgraded those lights to bluish white LEDs on my car. They match well with my OEM HIDs.

how did you get to the parking lights lexusk8? I just bought piaa wedge bulbs and I can't figure out how to get that out. I changed my fogs and I can see the 2 wires connecting to it, but I can't find where to pull it out from...

^ It's a little bit tricky when the headlamp is already installed but maybe these two pics below will help out.

Basically once you feel the black plastic tab which holds the parking light, grab and twist counterclockwise to pull and remove the bulb and the plastic holder.
