06 Lighting help

I bought these projectors off ebay. They don't include ballast. I don't think they are xenon projectors, but I am not sure. If my 04 Coupe lights are xenon, will I be able to just swab my bulbs and ballast into these lights? Will I have to open them up, or just scew on my old ballast. Or should I be using my old ballast with these new bulbs that are already in the lights?

Here is what is included with the new 06 projectors.
-All bulbs (OEM Philips D2S HID bulbs, city lights, turn signals and fog lights)

All you have to do is swap ballasts onto the new lights.

hi all... i am in a similiar situation... I did do a search so please dont blast me... lol hahah jk

I have a 2004 coupe. I just bought some 2006 projectors of ebay and they are coming with bulbs. I know that the 2004 are d2r and 2006 are the d2s. Can I just switch the ballast over to the new headlight assembly with the d2s bulbs. Are there any modifications required between the two sizes...
