Moisture in headlights....

Anybody else have moisture collecting inside their headlights? I have an 04 coupe and it seems to be getting worse as time goes on. Is there any remedy? Thanks for your thoughts....

i beleive that there may be a factory recall on them. when my 06' coupe was at the dealer the other day for axle work, they mentioned a recall on the headlamps. call them and see if your year model is included

GRRRRR.......Unfortunately, the recall is only on the 06 Projector type headlight assemblies, and its for glare, not condensation.

I believe all the headlights have a small opening to allow the moisture to vent. You may want to check and make sure that nothing is blocking the air vent.

Hope this helps.

This is considered normal by Infiniti to a certain amount.

Turn on your lights. When I rigged boats, we wired the lights in the guages to be on with the ignition; primarily center consoles. Humidity and condensation will evaporate with heat.

Yea, your headlights just came apart after a while I guess, it must have been a bad seal but it happens alot. I also recommend you get that fixed ASAP because water just collects in there, and you would be surprised how big of a puddle you would have on the bottom of your headlight. I've fixed plenty of condesated headlights, which were badly sealed from the factory, and sometimes I've poured almost a cup of water out of a headlight. Result from that... non working ballast, ignitor, and bulb.

Yea... Infiniti considers a bit of moisture "normal", but its probably not good for your bulbs. Anyways, it should disappear after turning on the lights for a few minutes.

Yea my passenger side headlight does that all the time. I just turn the low / high beams on and it goes away.

It doesn't go away, eventually all that water collects on the bottom of the headlight.
