"Projector" turn signal teaser

Thanks to IvoryGT for coming up with the idea originally. After swapping the stock fresnel lens for a clear lens in the projector, I didn't have use for the stock lens anymore. I figured instead of wasting them, I would replace the oem turn signal diffuse lens since it doesn't great in the headlights. Used some random Lexus lens holders I got along with some dremeling to make them fit and I got this:

In the process of doing a 7443 bulb swap also so they turn signals stay on like the 03-05 headlights, I'll have a writeup soon.

I texturized it to make it look like the OEM plastic like on the side mirror plastic, but it didn't turn out exactly like I wanted. The lighting makes it look weird too, but I have another set of bezels for my quad retrofit, and I think I'm just going to go with a smooth matte finish next time

It's been done before, and it's a great idea!

Can't wait to see the 7443 swap.

good job. The signal would be kind of directional now just so you know. I'd try aiming the signals before you seal it.. because it might bother you that it's not aligned against the wall when flashing...heh

Just align how you fit the lens into the turnsignal housing.

I suppose its not such a big deal.
