will these work for headlights?

05 g coupe headlight
if i was to switch the 4300k bulb out could i just replace it with a 6000k bulb or do i need a new ballast?


if i wanted to change the highbeams will the http://www.hidconcept.com/Bulbs-Philip-ult6k.html
work? and i need anything in addition to that either?
are those dual filament h4's?

highly doubt that Philips made those.

You can swap out the D2R bulb with another without any issues. I advise against the use of H4 HID for safety reasons.

If you want to change out your HID bulbs then you would need PHILIPS 6000K Ultinon D2R HID Bulbs.

Those are plug and play bulbs. All they do is just replace your original HID bulbs.

Now if you want to replace your bottom (For light) bulbs, in which you currently have H4 style bulbs with hight and low beams.

If you want to replace those with HID bulbs then you are going to need an extra ballast for each bulb.

And the link that you provided. Those are standard HID bulbs that you find in any HID equipped headlight. Except they are a replacement for H4 bulbs. Basically they have a same mount design as the H4 bulbs do.

And they are as safe as the HID bulbs are.

They only feature you gonna loose is high beam.
