im actually posting for a friend that is a computer retard. Does anyone have any reccomendations for 8k bulbs ? what company? I informed him that 8k bulbs are dimmer than oem (4300k) or 6k bulbs, but i had them in tha past and I felt the color trade off to brightness was not all that bad.

I have 6000k phillips but i know they dont make 8000k. So what should he get?

I wouldn't suggest going above 6000K. Tell him the Philipps Ultinons are the best he's going to get as I assume he wants the bluish tint.

 

8000k..you will lose alot of output..cant see shiet at night i heard..

 

I think at that level, most bulbs are just generic brands.

 

i have 8000k headlights and 3000k fogs and i love them

 

MTEC's You can find them on Ebay. SXEXCX and Deepdiver are two that I know that run them.
