Hey I just replaced mine a few weeks ago. It actually isn't LED, I don't know why Infiniti says it is. It is the exact same bulb as the side marker bulb in the front. It is a 194/168 bulb, 12V-3.8W. I got clear corners, so I just used those bulbs to replace my rear side marker on my tail-light.

Hey...Thanks for the quick reply. I should have noted this earlier, but I have a 2003 model, so do you know whether or not it's the same as your assembly? If so, do you think I could figure out how to replace the rear side marker light by referring to the directions on replacing a tail light (not sure if you noticed, but the manual says to "see dealer" for replacement of the side marker lights) from the owner's manual. Actually, I don't have my manual on me right now (I'm in class), but I'm not even sure it provides the information to replace a tail light.

Thanks again for your help.

I have a 2003 G35 coupe. It is the same. The manual doesn't tell you how to replace it. If you look inside your trunk you need to pop off the plastic clips holding the trunk liner on. You need to use a flat head screwdriver and pull. Once you do that you can see inside and you need to remove three (8mm I think) bolts. Two of them you can see after removing the trunk liner, the last one you need to pop off the rear plastic piece to get to the last bolt. It is held down by clips and if you put a screwdriver into one of the holes to depress the clip as you pull upwards hard, it should come off. Once you get all three bolts off you can pull out the light and replace the bulb.

Maybe they were referring to the sedan. I know that ours is an LED.

Hey guys,

Any idea of the part number or an online source for the rubber washers that sit on the bolts when replacing tails? I just put in my JDM tails and noticed some of my old rubber washers were torn/deteriorated.

Thanks in advance,
B

I'm in the process of changing my rear side marker light but I'm struggling with the rear combination lamp connector. Can anyone tell me how to disconnect it? Where to push/pull

It is Japanese law. Even the front side markers aren't markers. They are used as blinkers here. I had to rewire my lights and get JDM tails (can't have red turn signals), just to pass Japanese inspection (I have a US G35 here )

The coupe guys are lucky because they can just replace the side maker. The Sedan has an LED there and the enclosure is completely sealed

Hey I have an 07 coupe, and I've been trying to change out the rear side markers and backup lights, ... do you know if the procedure is the same for my car?... cause i think i got the 2 visible ones, but i cant seem to find the last bolt.... And once i get that off, do i take the whole tail light off or can i just change the bulb from inside the trunk?... thanx ^^
