Lightbulb Audi A6 LED Strip Mod?

I saw two S6's in Colorado this past weekend, and I noticed the LED light strips they have on the bumper. Well, I got to wondering if we could do something like this to the G, and how it would look. Has anyone ever seen anything like this on a G? I think it would look pretty clean myself...

Here are some pictures of it on an S6, and also two VW's:

Some people will think you're unoriginal... some will think it's unique...
Whatever you want, man. It's YOUR car, you can do whatever you want to it.
You be the guinea pig for this mod. If everyone loves it and wants it, you get the title of being the first to do it.
If nobody likes it... at least you stand out.
Honestly, I think it'd be neat to see something new on a G.
Post pics when/if you do this mod.

I think it would look dumb, only because the G35's headlights are Vertical appose to all the German cars posted above that have Horizontal headlights. Its hard to explain, but wouldn't look right unless you gut the headlight/fog side by side, not one on top of the other.

I agree with X-Vert. I've been contemplating this myself but the fact that the G has verticl lights...deterred me from doing it. I was thinking putting the 08 Cayenne bumper blinkers in my NISMO bumper on the sides and converting them into LED running lights.

To even consider doing this mod you should start with oem porsche/audi parts.
Any sort of "imitation" strip will most likely look like crap and look extremely cheap, especially when they are off.

I may dig into this once I get my kuruma z bumper and attempt to do it the way porsche did. Porsche wants a little over 600 for the led strip assembly/housing. I imagine the audi ones are similar in price.

I like it. I'd try this if I had the time to mess with it right now. Definitely a project for this summer though.

Might look better when it's all the way on the bottom of the opening.
