piaa h4 choices

which aftermarket h4 highbeams are better? considering both perfomance (of light output) and looks (style).

piaa xtreme white plus
piaa plasma yellow xtra twin beam
piaa super plasma gt-x

http://www.piaa.com/Bulbs/Bulbs-H4.html

or if you have any suggestions to one that you favor that is not listed..
that would also be appreciated
thank you

I got the extreme whites for my fogs. Its a tiny bit yellowish but its pretty bright white. Not a perfect match for stock hids but meh... You can see a blue tint from an angle in your housing but not directly from the lights. I wanted to get the intense but it was sold out~ The ones I got are rated at 4000k. Hope this helps~

I had the xtreme white which is around 4150K. You could tell they weren't the same kelvin as the HIDs but they were a pretty close match. I also tried out the MTEC H4s that are also really close.

I have a set of each for sale if you were interested. Just PM me if you're interested.

yellow light is the best for visibility in rain and fog. i have the gt-x in h1 - more of a purple color but i like the difference.

I originally changed out my fogs to MTEC Super Whites....they were 4150K
I then installed the MTEC Cosmos 4750K...I liked these because the coating on the bulbs were not straight blue.

I attached some pics of the Cosmos bulbs....you be the judge.

They definitely are weaker in distance compared to stock...so if its look your after, these maybe a good candidate.

Raybrig White Sonic. Granted, they don't last that long, but neither do PIAAs. Cleaner than most PIAAs, and cheaper.

I installed them in Oct. 05. I use them anytime I use the headlights.....so they have some time on them.

they are both fogs and high beams right?
That is correct, but you do sacrafice some distance to achieve a better color match......
