Do I have HIDS? or No?

I'm an idiot when it comes to lighting for my car, and I'm trying to figure out if I have HIDs or not. I know some G35s come with HIDS from the factory, but I'm not sure if mine is one. I have an 04 X Sedan.

I'm looking to replace my fogs to make everything match. I want white, not blue. The lights I have for lows right now are 4300, right?

Also, if I wanted to change the highs as well, would I need another bulb?

easiest way to check it by looking at the imprinted bulb numbers on the clear plastic headlight lense. If it says d2r then you have HID's

OK , it says D2R, so where can I get HID foglamps that match my headlights, as well as high beams.. I'm also not looking to spend tons of money on this, probably 100 max for fogs then maybe another hundred for the highs

keep this in mind:

6000k is the purest white bulb you can buy. anything more is blueish, and anything less is yellowish.

Do not install HID's in your fogs/highs, it will cause major glare issues, and you won't be able to pick up a reliable kit for $100 anyways. You can try and find coated h4 bulbs that match the HID's

Alright, so your saying something like this kit would be good? There are a couple of posts saying that these match the stock lights pretty well.

Where can I pick up a set of these?

And for the highs, should I get HIDs or H4s? or just Leave them the same?

Your high beam and your foglight is the same bulb. I'd stick to PIAAs and it really is very hard to match HIDs with any halogen.

If your bottom light is a fog/high bulb, then you need a H4 (9003) bulb. It is a halogen bulb, not a HID.
Many aftermarket brands available.....You can get several to mimic the HID light, but they usually are not as bright a light as the OEM yellowish bulb.
Check out MTEC super whites, I have them for several years now and they seem to match the HID's pretty well.....
