no no, what i mean by illuminated door sills is that there is a light inside of the sills. in your pic, for example, the light would illuminate the "skyline" blue or whatever color you choose. mercedes has it as an option.

That would be sweet. They are options on other cars that I have seen.

How much space is under the door sill? you would need about 1/4" amount of space underneath it. After that, then its a simple DIY project.
