Please Help - Need HID Fog Kit for 07 G35 Sedan

All - I've been looking for a nice HID kit to replace my crapy fog lights that come on the 2007 G35 Sedan/Sport. OEMs are the HB4's, or 9006 as seen elsewhere. Either in the 2500k-3k range or 6k range to match Phillips Ultinon HIDs. Also might be open to just changing out the bulbs. I did buy the PIAA IONs which sucked! Don't mind spending some $$$ to get a nice look/performance. I've heard of the HELIOS, Bellof, Prolumen, McCULLOCH, Philips, Hella, Osram, Matsu****a, MTEC just to name a few. Any ideas for what I'm looking for? Please help locate some choices and places to buy! Many Thanks!!!

I did a custom job with IvoryGT on this forum to convert my '06 lights into quad HID projectors.

Here's a link to the build:

Good Luck!

Do NOT install an HID kit into your foglights. It will cause excessive glare for other drivers and make you a douchebag

Interesting. So even though I all ready have HIDs in there, if I were to replace the fogs, which are also housed in the headlight unit, there would be "excessive glare." Why is that?

If i remember correctly, the fog is in a different section of the headlight. That housing might not be built to reflect HID output. Any differentiation in the way the bulb slides into the house and sit, can create glare as the unit should have some sort of cover/shielf to reduce glare. This shield is only built to shield glare from a 9006 bulbs.

This is a pretty good answer. The reflector bowl just isn't built for an HID setup, installing one WILL cause glare.

Might just replace the OEMs with a different 9006/HB4 instead. Thanks guys!
