Question about some hid bulbs I got

So I got some supervision 8000k hid bulbs from a friend. The box says d2s and I have d2r's, but the guy that gave em to me said it works for both. I know they will fit, but they dont have that mini reflector inside the bulb. So would there be any problems with using these bulbs? too much glare ? Btw, does anyone have experience with these super vision bulbs ?

if you have the d2r then that means g from 06-up the d2s are from 03-05 so therefore they wont fit. as far as i know.. if you get the d2c they fit for both.

Do NOT use those in your reflector housing. They will cause alot of glare for other drivers and make you a douchebag

There is a different notch on both bulb bases, so you would have to add/adjust a notch to fit.....but it would blind everyone coming towards you, so I say just exchange them for the right bulbs.

If you used bulbs without the ceramic shielding that d2r bulbs are supposed to have in your reflector housings, then yes it does.
