halo eyes install this weekend.

going to put my daemon eyes on this week. have a brilliant silver G35. i'm debating wether or not i should paint the inside black or not. would the halo eyes reflect stupid if i dont black out the headlights? i also here about painting the back part of the halo so it doesnt reflect out the back?

sounds fun... yea... if you dont want the light to scatter back into your reflector... you might wanna consider painting it black... or just black out the back of the light tubes..

when you mean painting it black, you mean the back part of the CCFL that gets epoxed? or the housing itself?

yea definitely do not paint the reflector inside the bulb houseing. I also had this question as to whether people painted out the back of the CCFL ring so that it wouldn't reflect into the houseing. Most people said to def. paint it or marker it so that it doesn't reflect back.

bummer!

didnt get started this weekend, but i do a little something today. i got the lights apart. went to go get my halo kit, and thats where the problems begin. when i first inintially got them, i took one out of packaging and tested the output. all the other rings looked fine and dandy in there bubble rap. now a year later i got them out, two broken (could've been myfault =/) and one i broke... well this is my status

now hopefully someone can tell me i'm on the right track.

and this is a nice shot where i screwed up on the drilling not once, but twice. and i hope the finaly holes are right??!

also i'm really confused on how to put on the lower halo's. from the diretions i got, the lights in manual dont seem to be my year lights, as housing looks diffrent. the blinker housing is getting in the way, or i'm just putting the halo in the wrong spot.

well this is my attempt. i have never done anything like this before. i can use some advice and pointers on how to cover up the messed up holes. i'm thinking paiting housing black now to somewhat hide them better.

from what i can tell, on the AAC site and ebay with other lights, my 05 housing is diffrent from the directions. the blinker housing gets in the way of the halo. i'm looking into getting these lights to pull the housings from it. would the housing fit in my 05 lights?

What's on that auction picture is the 03/04's. From what I see in your picture the 05/06 needs a different halo. Can you post a picture of your lower halo next to, or on the bezel so we can see how far off it is.

yea, they sent me the 03-04 halos wich are bigger then the 05-06 halos. this is why they dont fit on the inside and why i was confused. so i got the new halos coming in. x-vert is near my hometown, i beleive hes gonna help me out painting and installing.
