Vinyl Overlays: Smoke tail/headlights

Hey guys, i posted this at the sedan forum with little response, so here it is again.
i talked to Andrew from www.bluebatmobile.com who makes vinyl overlays for our cars. the vinyl is the much better alternative to spraying tint all over our headlights and tail lights. he uses top quality stuff that wont come off from the wash or weather. its some 7 years stuff. theres a thread over at my350z.com about it and in the coupe section. if theres enough interest, he'll make it for our sedans! rejoice! he may need a car down in San Diego, otherwise, ill be going down there in a few weeks to do it. PM me or contact him for more info. lets get this going so we can get that nice smoked look on our head/tail lights.

G35S 6MT / ts ecu / 350z springs & struts / jwt popcharger + z-tube / stillen dual exhaust / 6-wire ground kit / soon: kinetix high flow / ssr intake manifold

Need some pics man! Vinyl do come off also tho! All vinyls do. Look at your g35driver.com sticker if you have it. Get him to do some prototypes on you!

they will come off if you want them to come off, but not due to the weather or the wash...according to the maker. he uses 7 year vinyl. check out his site for more info.

Re: Vinyl Overlays: Smoke tail/headlights

My headlights have the vinyl under the plastic cover. My turn signals have the vinyl tucked behind the lens. Being wrapped around the light the vinyl shouldn't peel away ? The headlights are a whole other story as you'd have exposed edges unless you did it under the plastic cover.
If I could only do the back under the lens.
So far no peeling with my G35driver.com sticker pictured in my sig, but then again it's not vinyl !

I have a coupe and i have the vinyls on my clear sidemarkers. Very high quality stuff at a reasonable price. Nice guy too. Hopefully you sedan owners get some made for your car.
