Installing HID replacement fogs

Ok so I tried giving this a shot and I want to try to do it the cleanest way possible. I bought the HID kit from RX Performance and they were pretty quick in delivering it. Thanks RX! but they didn't come with any directions. I figured out how the wiring goes but it doesn't look easy at all.

After looking at the back of the headlight assembly, I saw that there is a cap sealing the fog light and parking light in place. Also, the foglight has only one prong for power and apparently, the base of the bulb acts as the ground so there is no harness to plug straight into the balast. And since the base of the HID bulb is plastic, the base isn't used as the ground. Also, the center hole in the cap assembly is not large enough to fit the wiring from the balast to the bulb wire, and the balast to power/ground wire. Also, I can't figure out how to cleanly mount the ground wire. Is there a DIY out for this or can someone lend me some tips? I appreciate it.

Mods, please don't move this thread, I think it may get more views and I can get more tips by putting it in the more active section of the forum. Thanks

You want some input? DO NOT INSTALL HID'S IN YOUR FOGLIGHTS It will cause major glare for other drivers making you a safety hazard and a douchebag.

Not the input I was looking for and there are ways to deal with glare. If your driving through one way city streets like I am, maybe brighter fogs would help me notice a little kid about to dash into the middle of the street in the middle of the night. So how bout we say I'm a humanitarian and I should get install advice.

HID fog lights defeat the whole purpose of fog lights unless you're installing like 3k or lower bulbs....

And make sure theyre not blinding other people.

I wanted it more for matching the actual Low Beams. I don't use the fog lights that often but when I do, I hate having to see being yellow while everything else looks clear. And believe me, I already know better than being a hazard on the road. To be frank, its for cosmetic purposes.

Put in "whiter" standard bulbs, such a Silverstar's or such. Putting HID's in place of fog lights is MORE than silly, it's downright DANGEROUS to others on the road. IMHO.
